I Am A Conductor For Kiwi Kaper

Hello my name is Benjamin.S and I am a kiwi kaper & I am a conductor for this year. It is hard to control a conductor baton stick so I practice with some people that are pro at conductor. Conductor is something that makes other instruments make wonderful sounds the conductor baton stick controls the instruments. It can make the instruments play slowly, fast, quiet, loud, sadly, happy. Conductors are the leaders of the instruments they can do anything they tell the instruments what to do.

Room 9 Immersion Assembly Writing Plan

''Our term for this theme for this year is musical madness. Term one they have to learn about what Does music make you feel like scared, happy, angry, sad.. Term two they are learning to sing a song and use instruments. Term Three they were learning about lip syncing and use their favourite songs to sing. Term five they were learning about watching movies with their family or friends and music on the movie. Team Four’s movie is our teachers. In the car with loud music on and they were dancing in the car crazy. They parked in the school and then saw Mr Jacobson he press his window down and playing his loud music loud. But team 2’s on is when the 3 teachers were standing where the seniors were and Mrs Gaston was singing and playing a ukulele and singing the lion king song and then the three teachers came on the stage one by one with a different instrument. I think musical madness is a bit good for all of us because. Mr Burt said he was gonna choose one of all of us to sing or dance on the stage and it turned out he didn’t do it. That was a cool song that Mr Burt, wrote it was all about musical madness.

My Maze I Made

Fun Day


On Saturday I was at my house with my mum we were cleaning up my brothers and dad were getting ready to go to there touch training. When they were ready they went into the car and went to there touch training. Me and my mum we did the dishes and cleaned up our rooms when we were finished called up my auntie’s house and said does Lincoln allowed to come to the fun day next to my house she said yes. Lincoln was getting ready I got ready and I walked over to his house with my little brother Malakai. We walk there then we waited for Lincoln to put on his shoe’s when he finished putting on his shoe’s. we walked over to the fun day there was a lot of people there we were looking for the face paint but it wasn't there. We went to my mum and said there is no face paint and then after there was face paint I got a clown and my little brother got spider man and my cousin Lincoln got a clown like my one other people got the same one as my one. Me and my little brother and Lincoln went to the bouncy castle we played on it some time’s the bouncy castle fell over I got kneed to the face when it fell over I got out really fast and helped all the other kids to get out my cousin Lincoln won a prize because he was dancing it was a little ball that was orange and we were passing it to me then I was passing it to him two. After that they told us to come in and have some sausages with bread it was yummy I had two of them then I got one for my mum and dad then I stayed inside with my mum & dad watch tv and then I played ps4 and then my brothers friends came over and played the ps4.

Stardome Trip Writing

At Stardome at one tree hill we got told sit on the ground outside on the grass with our groups we got told to lesson to our leader my leader was Toby’s mum we got told to use our ears not our mouths.  We had to follow our leader in side one group at a time when we're inside and then we went into the room and then a person called john told us about the solar system it was cool and fun. John said that we have to do activity it was fun we split up into 2 groups we had to read and walk around and looking at pictures to get the answers. We had to name our groups our group was called the awesome boys. we went into this room that had stars on the roof and then john told us to sit back look it showed plants on there then then watched a movie it was cool.  We got out of the room we got told to sit on the ground to wait for the other groups or then we could leave them behind we got told talk to our friends.

Earth’s Natural Resources
Walt: use paragraphs in our writing to organise our ideas.
Wal: how and why water, air and soil are necessary for life on Earth.

Task One: Padlet

Open up the padlet and share your ideas about 2-3 of Earth’s resources.

Use ideas from:
  • Your own knowledge.
  • Texts from this week (Reading).
  • Youtube videos.
  • Class discussions.

Task Two: You are going to write about Earth’s Resources. Through your writing, you will need to discuss 2-3 of Earth’s natural resources. Use the ideas on padlet to help you.

Planet Earth is where we live.  It is an amazing planet with many natural resources, like air, water and soil.  Some resources are renewable and some are not.  Let me tell you about them.

  • How does this resource support life?
Resource Helps People to Survive. With Air, Water, Plants, Trees, Food. Air Can help us to have Oxygen and Water helps us to drink and Plants they help us to have food.

  • How is this resource Created?
    How does this resource support life?
Resource is found by Seed on the ground. Seeds can help us to make Plants, Trees. Seeds are good to make food from plants.

  • How is this resource Created?
    How does this resource support life?
Resource Is made By God. He Makes stuff for us to Survive. Like Food Seeds And Trees & Water.
Conclusion:

  • What would happen if we didn’t have these resources?
  • How can we look after these resources? (Your opinion).
If we didn’t have these resources then we would be Dead. We Can Look After the plants trees and water then we would not die.

Rangitoto NZ BY LAND AND SEA

  1. 600 Years Ago Rangitoto Island volcano was the youngest in NZ.
  2. Rangitoto neighbour is Motutapu.
  3. Rangitoto Island is known for its contrasting rugged lava terrain and abundant native plant life. It has the largest pōhutukawa forest in the world, and is a safe haven for endangered native birds.
